- Public adjuster (formerly licensed and bonded in IL & IN);

From an academic standpoint, Scott holds:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree from The Cleveland State University with a Chemical Engineering major;
- MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University with a Finance major;
- Former Certified Quality Engineer by ASQC;
